Install Ollama -> Pull model -> Set model name in Settings.
Default URL: http://127.0.0.1:11434. Start with qwen3:8b, or use gemma3:4b on lighter hardware.

Does Reelstew upload my files or keys?
No automatic upload. Your videos, scripts, outputs, and keys stay user-controlled on your machine unless you explicitly enable an external integration.
Are Gemini and built-in AI media generation still included?
No. Gemini integration, built-in AI image/video generation, and the AI montage pipeline are removed/deprecated in the current product.
Are unsigned builds normal right now?
Yes. Early-stage unsigned builds are currently expected. Before installing, verify the published SHA256 checksum matches your downloaded file.
Do I need coding experience?
No. Reelstew is built for creators with guided workflows, so you can generate shorts without writing code.
Is this a subscription?
