Reelstew is designed to run locally on your computer. The software does not require an account and does not upload your videos, scripts, or outputs to a hosted backend.

Optional online features (such as Gemini script generation, Pexels source fetch, GIPHY overlays, online TTS, and YouTube tools) use providers you connect with your own API keys. Requests are made only when you choose to enable those integrations.

Before using keyed providers, users must acknowledge provider terms and licensing responsibilities. Reelstew does not grant media rights on your behalf.
