Reelstew is designed to run locally on your computer. The software does not require an account and does not upload your videos, scripts, or outputs to a hosted backend.

Optional features that contact external services (for example, script drafting through your local Ollama runtime or fetching assets from providers you connect with your own keys) make requests directly from your machine.
